I love Vintner's Daughter, but it does contain some photoactive ingredients (ingredients that are affected by sun exposure), so I use this in the PM only, and I use True Botanicals Clear oil in the AM. I love both oils equally; they both agree with my acne-prone skin and they're both so effective. Hope that helps!

love the site! i realize this article is from a while ago but wondering if you could answer a question for me! I’ve been using ( and loving) true botanicals, and have had good results. But i’m wondering if incorporating the Vitner’s daughter serum might get me to the next level now that my skin is on track ( have struggled with hormones/acne/scaring). Would you recommend the vitner’s daughter serum above the true botanicals pure radiance oil? ( I use the “clear” oil currently)

I first saw that Into The Gloss post on Vintner's Daughter being the "best face oil" but kept seeing other readers saying they've had better experience with Yuli Liquid Courage. I compared the two ingredients lists and the Yuli serum was just leaps and bounds more advanced. Sure enough the results were also more significant for me.

In reply to Liz. Hi Lizzie, that is a common question! Cleanse, tone, moisturize (vintner's daughter in your case) and then treat (cellular repair serum). Only use the cellular repair serum in the PM. Thanks for following Bare Beauty.

Hi! Love your site. I am currently researching like crazy for a new skincare routine. I am 31, my skin is on the oilier side (big pores) and since I love the sun I have some lines on my forehead & crows feet.
I just ordered the Vinter’s Daughter on Monday (can’t wait until it gets delivered! haha) and I came across your blog tonight.. I love it :). I also have a retinol cream but I do not plan on using it everyday.
I was thinking about trying the Clear Cellular Repair serum. I have 2 questions:
Just wanted to know if you apply that before or after the Vinter’s?
And if you use it in the AM and PM?
It’s so hard keeping up with the best way to layer everything after a toner lol.
